Nominations are Open

The Primetime Club is built on volunteers and we are in need of a full board of directors to continue as a functioning club. Serving on the board is a fantastic opportunity to:

· Make a Difference: Influence the direction and activities of our club.

· Share Your Ideas: Bring you unique vision and creativity to the table.

· Build Community: Strengthen connections and foster a sense of unity among members.

Whether you're a seasoned member or new to the club, your perspective is valuable. If you have a passion for our club and a desire to contribute, we want you to consider running for a position.

Nominating yourself is easy! Start by emailing Maryalyce Skree, our Nominating Committee Chair. Simply let her know which position you would like and provide a short bio and a recent picture of yourself. Nominations close at 5:00pm on October 24, 2026. Candidates will be introduced at the November 24, 2026 General Membership Meeting. Voting will take place online November 25-30, 2026.

Please volunteer. Your leadership could be the key to our continued success!

The SCW Primetime Club Needs You!

Are you new to the Primetime Club or have you been a member for years?

Nominations for Primetime Club Board of Directors are now open, and we need you! Fresh faces and innovative ideas keep our club vibrant and moving forward, and we need your help to make it happen.

We have seven crucial positions to fill:

· Member at Large 1

· Member at Large 2

· President

· Vice-President 1

· Vice-President 2

· Secretary

· Treasurer

What does the Treasurer do?

The Treasurer is responsible for accounting for the club’s incoming and outgoing funds and helps keep Primetime’s finances organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include overseeing the accounting aspects of:

  • Club inventory

  • Point of Sale System

  • Club Bingo Occasions

  • General Club Revenue and Expenses

And importantly, you won’t be doing it alone. The Treasurer has the support of a contracted consultant who assists with bookkeeping and year-end financial reports.

Accounting is handled using Quicken and Excel, and the club bank is conveniently located in Sun City West. The Treasurer is also provided with a club laptop and dedicated club email account.

The time commitment varies with the season but generally averages about 2–6 hours per week.

Because the Treasurer is a signer on the club’s bank accounts, the bank requires a minimum credit score of 575.

Why consider it?

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable with numbers and basic computer programs, and would like to make a meaningful contribution to Primetime. You’ll work with a supportive team, have professional bookkeeping assistance, and play an important part in keeping our club financially healthy. You don’t need to be an accountant. You need to be dependable, organized, willing to learn—and willing to help.

Our club truly needs someone to step forward.
Perhaps it’s you. Perhaps it’s someone you know who would be perfect for the job.

Please consider becoming—or nominating—our next Primetime Treasurer. Our club is counting on you! Write to Nominating Chair HERE.

Could You Be Our Next Treasurer?

Primetime needs someone special to step into one of the most important roles in our club.

Our current Treasurer has reached her term limit, and at this time, we do not have a candidate to succeed her. We’re hoping there may be a member out there—or someone you know—who would be a great fit and simply hasn’t considered it yet.
