Primetime Needs a Secretary for 2027
Our Club Depends on It!
As we prepare for 2027, Primetime still has one critical Board position to fill: Secretary.
This position is not optional. To remain a chartered club, all required Board positions must be filled.
Without a secretary, Primetime cannot continue operating as a chartered club.
The good news? You don’t need previous Board experience or special credentials. If you are dependable, organized, reasonably comfortable with a computer, and willing to learn,
you can do this job.
Prepares minutes for Board and General Membership meetings
Maintains important club records and required Rec Center reports
Tracks event attendance and guest participation
Participates in Board discussions and occasional club activities
You won’t be doing it alone. Established procedures, previous records,
and our current Secretary will help with the transition.
It’s easy to assume someone else will volunteer. This time, we can’t afford to make that assumption.
Primetime belongs to all of us, and sometimes keeping a great club going requires someone to say, “Okay, I’ll help.”

The Primetime Club is built on volunteers and we are in need of a full board of directors to continue as a functioning club. Serving on the board is a fantastic opportunity to:
· Make a Difference: Influence the direction and activities of our club.
· Share Your Ideas: Bring you unique vision and creativity to the table.
· Build Community: Strengthen connections and foster a sense of unity among members.
Whether you're a seasoned member or new to the club, your perspective is valuable. If you have a passion for our club and a desire to contribute, we want you to consider running for a position.
Nominating yourself is easy! Start by emailing Maryalyce Skree, our Nominating Committee Chair. Simply let her know which position you would like and provide a short bio and a recent picture of yourself. Nominations close at 5:00pm on October 24, 2026. Candidates will be introduced at the November 24, 2026 General Membership Meeting. Voting will take place online November 25-30, 2026.
